IRWIN Packaging Rebrand
My team was asked to refresh the IRWIN packaging and to also include three designs to show different price points of the tool - OPP or opening price point, MPP or mid price point, and HPP or high price point.
For the final packaging, we decided to make the navy blue of IRWIN the focal color, to separate the brand from our other brands (primarily Stanley and DEWALT). We differentiated the three price points by varying levels of simplicity on packaging as well as using color to show separation.
Our opening price point consists primarily of IRWIN blue and yellow, where the medium price point includes a gray hatched background. Our High price point switches to a milled steel background and text switches from white to blue as well.
